Emerging Engineers Leadership Program

Lead students through the Summer Bridge programs and provide leadership within the classroom as Teacher Assistant’s for a 6-week program. Competency: Leadership
Emerging Engineers Peer Mentor Program

Participate in the Learning Community and lead first year students; Act as a mentor to first year students, provide advocacy, engage, create belongingness, and assist with instilling confidence. Competency: Leadership
EWB International Travel
Engineers without Borders
Travel location and dates vary each year based on on-going projects. Competency: Global Studies, Community Engagement
Foundations of Engineering Design Thinking Research

UHP students work in teams of 3-5 to identify a topic area and conduct a research project to investigate it. Projects may involve data analysis, simulation and modeling, and/or prototyping and fabrication. Competency: Research
International Co-op Program

Students spend 8 months working and living abroad. Experiences: 2; Competency: Global Studies
PDCI Day Camp Counselor

Students from across the region will attend a day camp or day experience within CEAS. UC students will be responsible for day of coordination, assisting with Program Manager, and preparation for day. Competency: Leadership, Community Engagement
PDCI Robotics Committee

Local students participate in a robotics competition. Current students build and create the competition; Students assist with local schools. Competency: Community Engagement, Leadership
Protege Undergraduate Research

Teaching Assistant at Chongqing University

Students spend 1 semester in Chongqing, China as a TA. Experiences: 2; Competency: Global Studies
Teaching Assistant for First-Year ENED

ENED Peer-TAs play a critical role in welcoming first-year CEAS students, fostering a sense of belonging within the college, and cultivating these students' passion to pursue careers in engineering. Competency: Community Engagement
