CCM Play Series presents 'Pride and Prejudice' Oct. 2-4
Jane Austen's Regency-era romance comes to life on stage in a new adaptation; tickets on sale now
UC College-Conservatory of Music's 2025-26 theatre season opens with Jane Austen's Regency-era romance Pride and Prejudice, playing Oct. 2-4, 2025 in Patricia Corbett Theater.
The fire and wit of Austen's classic romance shines through in this vibrant new adaptation by Joseph Hanreddy and J. R. Sullivan. Presented as part of CCM's Play Series, the production is directed by CCM Acting Professor Susan Felder.
Marriage is an inevitable fact of life for the five Bennet sisters — Jane, Elizabeth, Mary, Kitty, and Lydia. With the family estate passing to their closest male cousin, their only hope to advance in life is to find a rich and single man — and one has just arrived in the form of the very handsome and very well-off Charles Bingley. The kindhearted and beautiful Jane seems poised to make a match, but must contend with her overly zealous mother, his snobbish sister and a slippery social ladder. When Bingley's taciturn friend Fitzwilliam Darcy shows an interest in the opinionated and spirited Elizabeth, the situation becomes more complicated than either of them expect.
Join us for CCM Play Series' performances of Pride and Prejudice on Oct. 2-4. Tickets are on sale now through the CCM Box Office — discounts available for UC and CCM students, faculty and staff.
Enjoy captivating performances by CCM's student actors and watch this story be brought to life on stage by CCM Theatre Design and Production students!
