Prospective Scholars
The Hoffman Honors Scholars are academic achievers and engage in cross-disciplinary learning, project-based service and philanthropy, global citizenship, and community building.
Students make a genuine impact by applying these experiences toward creating real-world solutions in the UC community and beyond.
Selection to this honors program at the University of Cincinnati will transform students into trailblazers who will change the world through academic expertise, community engagement, and interdisciplinary leadership.
Criteria for Consideration
Consideration is based on a student's Common Application and an invited interview.
There is no application for Hoffman Honors Scholars.
To be eligible for HHS, students must have:
- An academic major in the College of Arts and Sciences, College-Conservatory of Music, or the Lindner College of Business.
- Demonstrated academic excellence.
- Demonstrated leadership excellence.
- A commitment to service, community partnership, or civic engagement.
- A desire to participate in interdisciplinary community-building with their peers.
