Campus Hazing Transparency Report

This site includes organizations found responsible for hazing in the past 5 years.  This site will be updated by January 1 and August 1 of each year.

  • Notice Date: April 27, 2021
  • Outcome: University Suspension (5/21/21-6/1/2022), University Probation (5/21/21-5/1/2025)
  • Additional Sanctions/Stipulations:
    • Highly Encouraged Membership Review: the Administrative Review Committee strongly recomends that a membership review is conducted in coordination with Sigma Phi Epsilon Headquarters. 
    • Social Probation: the chapter will be placed on social probation effective from the return of suspension through 1 full academic year (June 1st-May 1st of the following calendar year).
    • Chapter Reintegration Plan: upon the return to campus following suspension, the chapter must submit a reintegration plan by September 15th of that academic year. 
    • Risk Management Consultation: the chapter is required to bring in a third party to conduct a risk management consultation. This must consist of an educational program/presentation on effective risk mamangement strategies when hosting and cohosting social events. The chapter is required to have 100% participation and must be completed by December 31st of the academic year the chapter returns from suspension.
    • Hazing Education: the chapter must complete a hazing education workshop with 100% of total membership in attendance by November 1st of the academic year the chapter returns from suspension.
    • Alcohol Education: the chapter must complete an alcohol education workshop with 100% of total membership in attendance by November 1st of the academic year the chapter returns from suspension.
    • Health Masculinity Workshop: the chapter must host a healthy masculinity workhop with 75% of total membership in attendance by May 1st of the academic year the chapter returns from suspension.

  • Outcome: University Probation until May 1, 2022; Alcohol Skills Education Program; Hazing Education - Greg Rosckopf of TKE Headquarters will visit the Lambda-Gamma Chapter to review the HQs Anti-Hazing Program with the active members.
