911 Communications

The 911 Communications Center is staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year by telecommunicators certified by Association of Public Safety Communications Officials (APCO) International and the International Academies of Emergency Dispatch to answer 911 emergency and non-emergency calls. They are certified to offer Emergency Medical Pre-Arrival instructions.

If a cell phone is used to contact our 911 Communications Center, the call will be routed to the nearest emergency communications center (city or county). Tell the call-taker what UC campus you are located on, as well as the building or address and they will route the call to UC 911 for processing.
