Reporting Requirements
Who is a mandated reporter?
Sexual Misconduct. University of Cincinnati employees are generally required to report possible sexual misconduct that they learn about to the Title IX Coordinator, as well as any other violation of the Title IX Policy. Below is an excerpt the relevant policy language:
"All University employees and any member of the University community who supervises faculty, staff, students, or volunteers, except those exempt from reporting as set forth in this Policy or expressly identified as a confidential reporter, have an obligation to report incidents that may be a violation of this Policy. Any such individual who receives a disclosure of allegations of conduct in violation of this Policy or becomes aware of information that would lead a reasonable person to believe that a violation may have occurred involving anyone covered under this Policy, must report all known information immediately."

Discrimination. All individuals are strongly encouraged to report possible instances of discrimination or harassment to the Office of Equal Opportunity.
FAQ
We strongly encourage everyone to report possible instances of sexual misconduct or discrimination that they learn about.
A duty to report may be present if you learned about a violation of the Title IX Policy through your course of employment.
Please submit your report so that our team can review it. If it's not an area that we can help with, we will do our best to refer the involved parties to resources and other areas that may be able to help.
There are a narrow list of exemptions to mandated reporting. See Reporting Exemptions within the Title IX Policy.
If you are filing a report to comply with mandatory reporting obligations, please do not report anonymously. Instead, please report through the Make A Report button located above. Reports made pursuant to this reporting requirement cannot be anonymous.
