Captain Christina Rose
Captain Christina Rose was raised in a military family, with her father proudly serving 21 years in the U.S. Army as a noncommissioned officer. Although she moved frequently during her upbringing, Rose considers San Antonio, Texas, her hometown.
Captain Rose earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Texas at San Antonio, where she also commissioned into the United States Army as a Second Lieutenant in the Engineer Branch. Upon completing the Basic Officer Leadership Course at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, CPT Rose was assigned to the 5th Engineer Battalion, 36th Engineer Brigade. There, she served as the Assistant S3 Plans Officer and later as the Platoon Leader for 3rd Platoon, 515th Sapper Company. Following her time as a senior lieutenant, CPT Rose assumed command of the 94th Military Working Dog Detachment. As Commander, she led the unit through numerous joint field exercises, combat training center rotations, and an overseas deployment to Poland in support of Operation Defender Europe.
Most recently, CPT Rose served as an S4 and completed her command time as the Brawler Troop Commander within the Regimental Engineer Squadron, 3rd Cavalry Regiment. During her tenure, she led the troop through a Korean Rotation as part of Rotation Forces 14 and concluded her command as the final Brawler Troop Commander before the unit's deactivation as part of Army restructuring efforts.
CPT Rose is supported by her loving husband, Anthonie Rose, and their two children, Noah and Ezra.
