Circular Waste Management Series
UC's Office of Sustainability is excited to announce its newest event series! Starting in Fall 2025, the Office will host monthly dropoffs & information sessions in the Tangeman University Center.
Fall 2025
Each month this semester, the Office will host a 2-part event focused on circular waste management (CWM) in Cincinnati:
1. Hub Collection
Office employees & volunteers will collect non-curbside recyclables for transport to the Cincinnati Recycling and Reuse Hub.
Overwhelmed by how much the Hub accepts? Start by holding onto one item you find yourself frequently tossing, like grocery bags or plastic mailers, then bring your stash to us. We'll keep it out of the landfill for you!
Please note: all items must be clean, dry, and free of debris.
2. Info Session/Q&A
Hannah Hengehold, Education & Community Relations Specialist at Rumpke Waste & Recycling will join us to discuss the recycling process, from your bin to end-market.
